TASER Devices
TASER brand devices are one of the most effective CEWs available today. TASER devices use proprietary technology to safely incapacitate dangerous, combative or high-risk subjects who pose a risk to law enforcement officers, innocent citizens or themselves. TASER electronic control devices utilize compressed nitrogen to project two small probes up to 15 or 21, 25 or 35 feet at a speed of 180 feet per second. These probes are connected to the TASER CEW by high-voltage insulated wire. An electrical signal is transmitted throughout the region where the probes make contact with the body or clothing, resulting in an immediate loss of the person's neuromuscular control and the ability to perform coordinated action for the duration of the impulse.
