As CEO, Rick leads the company with a constant focus on delivering innovative solutions that make communities safer. Rick’s quest to create technology solutions to reduce world violence began in 1993 when he founded TASER with his brother Tom. Since then, TASER ECDs are now in more than 16,000 law enforcement agencies in more than 40 countries.

Rick graduated from Harvard Cum Laude, received his MBA from the University of Chicago with a master's degree in international finance from the University of Leuven in Leuven, Belgium. He is a co-winner of the Ernst and Young 2002 Entrepreneur of the Year® and named one of the “2010 Most Admired CEOs and Top-Level Executives” as sponsored by The Phoenix Business Journal and holds 14 patents.

Luke Larson

Luke is responsible for day to day operations and execution for all aspects of TASER International’s business. He oversees sales, legal, marketing and communications, operations and manufacturing, people operations, hardware & software engineering and product management.  Luke joined TASER in June of 2008 and has served in a variety of executive and management roles including director of video products, product manager and product development manager. Prior to joining TASER, Luke served as a Marine Corps infantry officer. Luke graduated from University of Arizona with honors where he was an NROTC Scholarship recipient. He also received an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management. 

Dan Behrendt

Dan Behrendt serves as TASER’s Chief Financial Officer. He oversees all aspects of corporate finance, information technology, HR, and investor relations.

Dan joined TASER in May 2004 from Imperial Home Décor, after serving in a number of financial management positions for the Imperial Home Décor Group, including Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Vice President and Corporate Controller and finally Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. From 1995 to 1998, he served as the Manager of Business Planning and Analysis for Teledyne Fluid Systems, a division of Allegheny Teledyne. From 1991 to 1995, he served as Manager, Business Planning and Analysis for PCC Airfoils, Inc. From 1988 to 1991, Dan was a Financial Analyst for the Power Generation Group of Babcock and Wilcox, and from 1986 to 1988, he worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen and Co..

Dan holds a B.S. degree in Accounting, Cum Laude, from Mount Union College and a Masters of Business Administration degree from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Doug Klint

Doug Klint serves as TASER’s General Counsel and has been with the Company since December, 2002. Doug oversees TASER’s Hardware Group including Operations, Research & Development, Medical & Technical Services, and Government & Public Affairs. As General Counsel, he oversees TASER’s robust legal department, managing risk management, litigation, corporate governance, securities compliance, intellectual property, employment law, and patent law.

Doug joined TASER from Aspec Technology in Sunnyvale, California, where he served as CEO and previously as Vice President and General Counsel. He was Vice President and General Counsel for Gatefield Corporation and Zycad Corporation, as well as a partner in the law firm of Talle, Klint, and Trimble. Mr. Klint holds a B.A. degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and a J.D. degree, Cum Laude, from William Mitchell College of Law.

Marcus Womack

Marcus Womack serves as’s General Manager. He oversees all aspects of TASER’s public safety software business.

Marcus joined TASER in 2013 and brings over 15 years of product design, development and management experience. He previously served as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Familiar, Inc. from 2011 through its purchase by TASER in October 2013. Prior to that, Marcus was VP and General Manager at iLike from 2009 to 2011. From 2007 to 2009 Marcus was Director of Product Management where he executed on product and business strategy that led to the sale of the company in 2009 to MySpace. From 2005 to 2007, Marcus served as the Lead Program Manager for Microsoft Xbox Live. He also worked at Microsoft in digital media and gaming on products including Xbox Live, Zune, and MSN Music.

Marcus holds a B.A. degree from Pacific Lutheran University.

Josh Isner

Josh Isner came to TASER in 2009 as a member of our Leadership Development Program. After rotating through several departments in the company, he eventually helmed our domestic video and cloud sales team, which he led to a record year in 2014. Josh now oversees the entire sales organization. Josh was previously the Director of Leadership Development, Northeast Regional Sales Executive, and VP of Video and Cloud Sales at TASER. Josh has a BS in Government & Political Science from Harvard

Mr. Garnreiter has served as a director of the Company since June 2006 and in February of 2012 assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Garnreiter is also currently a managing director for Fenix Financial Forensics; a Phoenix Arizona based consulting organization, and has served in that capacity since January 2010. Mr. Garnreiter is also a board member and Audit and Governance committees Chair of Amtech systems, a supplier of horizontal diffusion furnace systems. He is also a board member and Audit committee Chairman for Knight Transportation, a North American truckload carrier. Mr. Garnreiter also serves as an Audit committee member for PAAMCO, a privately held company. From August 2006 through December 2009, Mr. Garnreiter also is managing member of Rising Sun Restaurant Group, L.L.C., a private restaurant operating company. From April 2002 through June 2006, Mr. Garnreiter was Executive Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer of the Main Street Restaurant Group. Mr. Garnreiter previously served as a partner of the international accounting firm of Arthur Andersen from 1974 through March 2002. Mr. Garnreiter holds a B.S. degree in accounting from California State University at Long Beach and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Born and raised in New York City, Dr. Carmona dropped out of high school and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1967. While enlisted, he received his Army General Equivalency Diploma, joined the Army's Special Forces, ultimately becoming a combat-decorated Vietnam veteran, and began his career in medicine.

After leaving active duty, Dr. Carmona attended Bronx Community College of the City University of New York, where he earned his associate of arts degree. He later attended and graduated from the University of California, San Francisco, with a bachelor of science degree (1977) and medical degree (1979). At the University of California Medical School, Dr. Carmona was awarded the prestigious gold-headed cane as the top graduate. He has also earned a masters of public health from the University of Arizona (1998).
Dr. Carmona has worked in various positions in the medical field, including paramedic, registered nurse, and physician. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is also certified in correctional health care and in quality assurance.

In 2002 Dr. Carmona was nominated by President George W. Bush and unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate to become the 17th Surgeon General of the United States. As Surgeon General, Dr. Carmona focused on prevention, preparedness, health disparities, health literacy and global health to include health diplomacy. He also issued many landmark Surgeon General communications during his tenure, including the definitive Surgeon General's Report about the dangers of second-hand smoke (2006).
Prior to being named Surgeon General, Dr. Carmona was the chairman of the State of Arizona Southern Regional Emergency Medical System; and a professor of surgery, public health, and family and community medicine at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Carmona has served for over 26 years with the Pima County Sheriff's Department in Tucson, including as deputy sheriff, surgeon, and SWAT team leader. He is one of the most highly decorated police officers in Arizona, and his numerous awards include the National Top Cop Award, the National SWAT Officer of the Year, and the National Tactical EMS Award. Dr. Carmona is a nationally recognized SWAT expert and has published extensively on SWAT training and tactics, forensics, and tactical emergency medical support. Dr. Carmona has also served as a medical director of police and fire departments and is a fully qualified peace officer with expertise in special operations and emergency preparedness, including weapons of mass destruction.

After completing his four-year term as Surgeon General in 2006, Dr. Carmona was named to the position of vice chairman for Canyon Ranch, the country's leading health and wellness company for over 25 years. He also serves as chief executive officer of the company's Health Division and oversees health strategy and policy for all Canyon Ranch businesses. He is president of the nonprofit Canyon Ranch Institute and the recipient of the first Distinguished Professorship in Public Health at the University of Arizona's Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. Dr. Carmona has received numerous awards, decorations, and local and national recognition for his achievements. A strong supporter of community service, he serves on community and national boards and provides leadership to many diverse organizations.

Mark W. Kroll Ph.D., FACC.  Dr. Kroll retired from St. Jude Medical Inc. in July 2005, where he held various executive level positions since 1995, most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Cardiac Rhythm Management Division. Dr. Kroll holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics and a M.S. degree and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a M.B.A. degree from the University of St. Thomas. He has over 340 issued US patents and is a Fellow of the: American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm Society, Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, and the American Institute for Medicine and Biology in Engineering. Dr. Kroll is also a director of Haemonetics Corporation.

Judy Martz was elected as Montana’s first female Governor on November 7, 2000. Four years earlier, she was elected as the state’s first female Lieutenant Governor. Governor Martz was born July 28, 1943 in Big Timber, Montana, to ranching parents. She graduated from Butte High School in 1961, and attended Eastern Montana College. She was a member of the 1963 U.S. World Speed Skating Team, and a member of the U.S. Olympic Speed Skating Team at the 1964 Winter Games.

Governor Martz worked as a field representative for U.S. Senator Conrad Burns from 1989 to 1995. She has been civically involved for years, serving as President of the Butte Chamber of Commerce in the early 1990’s, and vice-chair of the St. James Hospital Board of Directors. For more than 30 years, she and her husband, Harry Martz, have owned and operated a commercial solid-waste business in Butte. As a small business owner, she became actively involved in local and statewide economic development issues.

Mr. Partovi has served as a director of the Company since 2010 and is currently a strategic advisor to Facebook, Dropbox, OPOWER and Bluekai.  Mr. Partovi is also a co-founder of the education non-profit  From 2009 through 2010, Mr. Partovi was Senior Vice President of Technology for MySpace (via acquisition) and from 2006 through 2009 he was President and Co-Founder of ILIKE, Inc. which was acquired by MySpace in 2009. From 2002 through 2005, Mr. Partovi was General Manager, Microsoft MSN Entertainment and and from 1999 through 2001, he was Co-Founder and VP of Product and Professional Services for TELLME Networks, Inc. From 1994 through 1999, he was Program Manager for Microsoft Internet Explorer.  Mr. Partovi holds B.A. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science, summa cum laude, from Harvard University.

Bret Taylor served as Group Product Manager at Google Inc. until June 2007, where he co-created Google Maps and the Google Maps API. He then joined venture capital firm Benchmark Capital as an entrepreneur-in-residence where he founded the social network Friendfeed, Inc. with former Google employee, Jim Norris. Taylor was the CEO of FriendFeed until August 2009, when Facebook acquired the company. Taylor was the Chief Technology Officer of Facebook until the summer of 2012 and supervised some of Facebook's newest and most important products, including the creation of the Open Graph, the App Center, and its integration with the Apple App Store. He is now CEO and co-founder of Quip. Taylor attended Stanford University, where he earned his bachelor's degree and a master's degree in computer science.
